Traditional Chinese Studies and Trend Decoding Forum – New Fortune (20th Anniversary) Toronto Special Session
The "Decoding Chinese Studies and Trends Forum – New Luck (20 Years) Toronto Special," with Markham Financial Family Office as the chief sponsor, Neo Chinese Culture as the host, and the Society for the Preservation of Chinese Culture as the supporter, was held on October 12, 2024, at the Hilton Markham. The I Ching is a systematic theory that studies the laws of development of things in the universe. The fact that many famous theories in modern computer science, quantum physics, psychoanalysis, Western philosophy, and modern economics were inspired by the I Ching surprised the audience, who discovered that the guidance and inspiration of the I Ching have always led the development of human society. However, as culture is lost, the understanding and recognition of the I Ching among Chinese people themselves are extremely limited, let alone its application to the development of natural sciences and other fields.
Instructor Wensheng led everyone to trace the **I Ching**'s "Book of ..." from archaeological discoveries.Innate divinationHistory. The pottery found at the Qiaotou site in Yiwu, Zhejiang, pushed the history of the "Xiantian Yi" back to more than 9,000 years ago. The "Xiantian Yi" mainly includes Tai Chi, the River Diagram, the Luo Book, andPrimordial Bagua... research and reflects the interaction between Earth and celestial bodies. Jupiter and Saturn, in addition to the Sun and Moon, are the two major celestial bodies that have a significant impact on Earth. These two bodies meet every 20 years, and during this period, their interaction affects Earth continuously until their next meeting. The so-called influence refers to the changes in Earth's nature due to celestial action, as well as the changes in human society that follow from these natural changes. This 20-year cycle of change is expressed and studied using the “Xiantian Bagua” (Pre-celestial Eight Trigrams) model from the "Xiantian Yi" (Pre-celestial I Ching).
Then, Mentor Wensheng led everyone in a brief review of the energy model of the 2004-2023 20-year cycle – “Gen.” Everyone learned that the characteristics of the energy cycle over the past 20 years were “earth,” “accumulation,” “consolidation,” and “control,” corresponding to key areas and industry hotspots such as “construction,” “infrastructure,” “real estate,” “regulation,” and “governance.” The audience suddenly understood a principle: the many entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals who achieved success in the past 20 years were fortunate enough to “hit” the opportune moments and seize important opportunities.

The second keynote speech, “Guoxue Preservation Association Value Presentation,” is delivered with great passion by Teacher Xiyan, the Executive Director of the Guoxue Preservation Association, the lead teacher of Xinyi Guoxue's School of Military Arts, and an inheritor of Yitong Guoxue. Starting with the term “Guoxue” (Chinese Studies), the speaker corrects many previous misconceptions and misunderstandings people have had about it. Following this, Teacher Xiyan introduces the purpose, vision, mission, and role of the [Guoxue Preservation Association]. He then passionately calls out that the cultural DNA of China is eternal and will be passed down through generations, encouraging all individuals interested in Chinese culture to join the [Guoxue Preservation Association].

Although it was only an hour, the amount of information in Mentor Wensheng's speech was immense. Many entrepreneurs present stated after the event that attending this forum provided great inspiration for investment directions and development areas over the next 20 years.
