Chinese Writers Society of Canada Joins Hands with Shuangkuai Chinese to Cultivate Cultural Ambassadors Online and Offline
Overseas Chinese language teaching focuses on "reading, writing, and presentation," with teenagers frequently receiving praise for reciting classical poems on stage.

(Toronto, Chinese website, reporter Feng Qiao) The Chinese Writers Society of Canada and Shuangkuai Chinese School have engaged in extensive cooperation, employing a complementary model that combines face-to-face courses with online open classes. This collaboration explores a comprehensive overseas Chinese language teaching model that integrates reading, writing, and public speaking, achieving remarkable results. A group of young people passionate about Chinese culture are growing into "cultural ambassadors" connecting different civilizations. They frequently recite classical poetry at Canadian Chinese Writers Association events, winning widespread acclaim.

President Fei Yan outlines a path: "Reading, Writing, and Exhibition" to cultivate cultural ambassadors.
Fei Yan, the president of the Chinese Writers Society of Canada, is a key driving force behind this educational blueprint. In numerous public lectures, he emphatically stated that the true mission of overseas Chinese language education is not merely to teach children to write and compose, but to cultivate cultural ambassadors who can "read classics, express genuine feelings, and showcase their talents." "Reading is the foundation, writing is the bridge, and presentation is transforming words into a three-dimensional sound and emotion," he explained. He proposed that through systematic training (including public speaking, mentorship, and community leadership), every young person who loves Chinese should become a beacon of light bridging multiculturalism. Under Fei Yan's leadership, the Canada-China Writers Association continuously provides students with platforms for recitations, writing competitions, and publication, enabling the "cultural ambassador" vision to translate into action.

Principal Luo Yangfu, a pioneer in the "Double-Fast" initiative, delves into classroom teaching: life-based writing and a closed-loop learning experience.
Luo Yangfu, the principal of Shuangkuai Chinese School, is fully committed to implementing the details of teaching. He has constructed a complete closed loop of "high-quality reading - systematic writing - multi-dimensional presentation": in class, he provides in-depth explanations of model essays by famous writers, guiding students to break down their thought processes; outside of class, he organizes food festivals, temple fairs, and autumn harvest field trips to give writing a touch of life; he has established writing scholarships, published a collection of student essays titled "The Fragrance of Ink Under Maple Leaves," and recommended works for publication in magazines such as "World Chinese Weekly." In recent years, students have repeatedly achieved excellent results in competitions such as the World Chinese Students' Essay Competition, truly realizing "learning by doing and promoting learning through exhibitions."
